Hello there ! My name is Valentin. I’m a programmer, traveler, photographer, scientist and all-around geek. I was born and raised in Paris, I worked in Dublin, studied in Toulouse and currently live in Los Angeles.

I’m a software engineer by trade and I am passionate about the intersection of maths, science and the visual arts.

Since I was little, I have tried to document my trips with great pictures, whether I go local or fly to the antipodes, so travel photography is my main pursuit.  I also love shooting in my neighborhood and around Southern California.

Research

I got my Ph.D. from the University of Toulouse working on computational geometry, real-time physics simulation and character animation.
